I was searching a way to modify the original phono-in entry (for connection of vynil disc player, with RIAA equalization) to a line-in entry (for connection of modern analog entries, eg. ipod, mp3player).
This service manual gave me the correct hints.
It contains very useful infos for repairing and modifing the hi-fi, such as disassembling instructions, block diagrams, schematic diagrams, PCB prints, replacement parts list.

I must admit, I was very skeptical... $4.99 for a 74 page service manual. I've seen some very poorly scanned manuals on the Internet, but this one is VERY good quality! Even when zooming into 500%. Great Deal!

Various system constructions
You can construct a system with a projector by using up to eight PC3000s, as PC-3000 is conformed to RS-485 system.
Eight pictures can be selected to send to a monitor or a projector
This unit can mount up to eight signal interface boards which allow the connection of up to eight VCRs or personal computers with this unit. The picture from connected equipment can be selected with the SELECT button on the front panel.
On installation
� Allow adequate air circulation to prevent internal head build-up. Do not place the unit on surfaces (rugs, blankets, etc.) or near materials (curtains, draperies)that may block the ventilation holes. Be aware that room heat rises to the ceiling; check that temperature near the installation location is not excessive. � Do not install the unit in a location near heat sources such as radiators or air ducts, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust or humidity, mechanical vibration or shock.

On cleaning
To keep the cabinet looking brand-new, periodically clean it with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent solution. Never use strong solvents, such as thinner or benzene, or abrasive cleansers, since these will damage the cabinet.

With the buttons on the front panel of this unit, the input signal of the projector can be switched.
Built-in cable compensating circuit
You can reduce deterioration in picture resolution caused by using a long cable through application of the compensating circuit incorporated into this unit. Activate the built-in compensating circuit with the MODE selector set according to the length or type of the cable being used to connect this unit and a projector or monitor.
