This is a great manual. It was easy to read and very accurate. The size of the manual is small so email is no problem. I highly recommend it. The manual is very hard to find other than this website.
 ;
Manual was complete and available promptly, since I had lost my original manual. Very good response.

Whilst this is a photo copy, and some of the pages are a little askew, it was all readable and intact. A real bonus finding an old manual for a classic piece of kit that no other site had.
Great stuff.

MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE DUSTBAG
Always operate the cleaner with the dustbag installed. If you forget to attach the dustbag or attach it in the wrong manner, the dust cover may not close completely. After removing the flexible hose, open the front cover using the compartment open button (fig. 20). Rotate the support of the bag to the vertical position. Remove the dustbag and insert a new one (fig. 21). Close the cover by pressing down until it clicks (fig. 20). The paper dustbag reference number is Menalux BT236 / CT236.
BLOCKED AIRFLOW AND DIRTY FILTERS
The cleaner stops automatically if a blockage occurs in the nozzle/tube/hose or if the filters are blocked with dirt. Disconnect from mains and allow the cleaner to cool for 4560 minutes. Remove blockage and/or replace filters. Restart the cleaner.
CLEANING / REPLACING THE FILTERS
The dustbag must be replaced if the window of the dustbag full indicator is illuminated. Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled. Always operate the cleaners with filters installed to avoid reduced suction. Disconnect from electrical outlet before cleaning filters. Cleaning the motor filter Pull dustbag upward and remove the motor protection filter (fig. 22). Rinse the filter under tap water and dry it completely (fig.25). Put the filter back into the cleaner and close the cover (fig. 22, fig. 20). Cleaning the exhaust filter Open the filter grill and remove the exhaust filter (fig. 23, fig. 24). Rinse the filter under tap water and dry it completely (fig. 25). Put the filter back into the cleaner and close the filter grill (fig. 24, fig. 23).
