This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

10 Ziehen Sie die Schraube an der Unterseite des Notebooks wieder an. 11 Schalten Sie den Computer ein.
Anzeigen der Speicherkapazität
So können Sie die Speicherkapazität anzeigen: 1 2 3 Schalten Sie den Computer ein. Gehen Sie über das Menü Start zu Sony Notebook Setup. Das Dialogfeld Sony Notebook Setup wird angezeigt. Auf der Registerkarte �ber diesen Computer können Sie die Systemspeicherkapazität anzeigen. Wenn der zusätzliche Speicher nicht angezeigt wird, wiederholen Sie den gesamten Vorgang und starten Sie das Notebook neu.

Umgang mit der Festplatte
Die Festplatte hat eine hohe Speicherdichte und liest oder schreibt Daten in kürzester Zeit. Andererseits ist sie sehr anfällig gegenüber mechanischen Erschütterungen, Stö�en oder Staub. Obwohl die Festplatte über eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung verfügt, die Datenverluste durch mechanische Erschütterung, Stö�e oder Staub vermeiden soll, sollten Sie vorsichtig mit Ihrem Computer umgehen. So vermeiden Sie Beschädigungen Ihrer Festplatte:

Sto�en Sie nicht zu fest gegen den Computer. Bewahren Sie den Computer au�erhalb der Reichweite von Magneten auf. Stellen Sie den Computer nicht an einem Ort auf, an dem mechanische Erschütterungen zu erwarten sind oder die Stabilität nicht gewährleistet ist. Verrücken Sie den Computer nicht, wenn er eingeschaltet ist.
