Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
In diesem Abschnitt werden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen beschrieben, die Ihnen helfen sollen, Ihren Computer vor möglichen Schäden zu bewahren. Ihr Notebook und die Arbeitsspeichermodule verwenden hochpräzise Bauteile und spezielle elektronische Anschlüsse. Zur Vermeidung von Beschädigungen und zur Wahrung Ihrer Garantieansprüche empfiehlt Sony Ihnen:
neue Speichermodule nur von Ihrem Fachhändler zu beziehen, die Speichermodule nicht selbst zu installieren, wenn Sie mit der Erweiterung des Arbeitsspeichers eines Notebooks nicht vertraut sind, auf keinen Fall die Modulanschlüsse oder Speichersteckplätze zu berühren.

Hinzufügen und Entfernen von Speichermodulen
Möglicherweise möchten Sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt Speichermodule installieren, um die Funktionsvielfalt Ihres Computers zu erweitern. Durch die Installation von optionalen Speichermodulen können Sie den Speicher aufrüsten. Seien Sie beim Hinzufügen von Speichermodulen äußerst vorsichtig. Fehler bei der Installation oder Deinstallation eines Speichermoduls können zum Ausfall des Computers führen. Verwenden Sie bei Arbeitsspeicher-Upgrades nur PC100 (CL2) SDRAM SO-DIMMs. Elektrostatische Entladung kann elektronische Bauteile beschädigen.
