Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Terugzetten van het wachtwoord
1 2 Druk op HOME MENU. Selecteer �Instelling� (�/� en dan ENTER).
3 Selecteer �Wachtwoord� (�/� en dan ENTER). Het invoerscherm voor het wachtwoord zal verschijnen. Voer uw wachtwoord van vier cijfers in via de cijfertoetsen 0 t/m 9. 4 5 6 Selecteer �Reset� (�/� en dan ENTER). Selecteer �Ja� (�/� en dan ENTER). Druk op HOME MENU om het menu te sluiten. Opmerking � Door de bovenstaande procedure wordt het wachtwoord teruggezet op de fabrieksinstelling (1 2 3 4).
Uitschakelen van het wachtwoord
Volg de onderstaande procedure als u de beveiligingen waarvoor u het wachtwoord moet invoeren wilt uitschakelen. De fabrieksinstelling is �Inschakelen�. 1 Herhaal de stappen 1 t/m 3 onder Terugzetten van het wachtwoord. 2 3 4 Selecteer �Wachtwoord inst.� (�/� en dan ENTER). Selecteer �Uitschakelen� (�/� en dan ENTER). Druk op HOME MENU om het menu te sluiten. Opmerking � Door de bovenstaande procedure wordt het wachtwoord teruggezet op de fabrieksinstelling (1 2 3 4). � Nadat u de wachtwoordbeveiliging heeft uitgeschakeld, kunt u de instellingen voor de Kinderbeveiliging niet meer veranderen. Zie Instellen van het kinderslot op pagina 27. � Nadat u de wachtwoordbeveiliging heeft uitgeschakeld, kunt u het wachtwoord niet meer wijzigen of resetten. � Wanneer u de wachtwoordbeveiliging heeft uitgeschakeld en vervolgens weer inschakelt, zal de fabrieksinstelling voor het wachtwoord (1 2 3 4) gelden.
We raden u aan uw wachtwoord op te schrijven voor het geval u het vergeet. Als u uw wachtwoord vergeten bent
PDP-508XD/PDP-428XD Uw wachtwoord:
Houd, wanneer de melding �Invoer uw wachtwoord.� verschijnt, de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening tenminste drie seconden ingedrukt. Het wachtwoord wordt dan teruggezet op �1234�.
