Manual was reasonably easy to follow. I am not an engineer or know much about electronics but with the manuals help I was able to figure out the problem, identify the part required for the repair. Replacement part cost around $30. Whilst replacing the part I was telling myself, "this aint gonna work cos it seems far too easy". Took about 15 minutes to do and my plasma TV works a treat. Would never have been able to do this without the service manual.

Good manual. Even it is an old printed manual, it is well scanned and complete, with all drawings, schematics and parts list. Very good return for the cost.

The sound is not emitted audio out. Yes Is a signal output from IC4701? (pin 33, 34) 30 Yes No Check the surrounding of IC4701 and each input signal. If there was no ploblem, replace the MAIN ASSY. Check the communication between IC4701 and CN4005. NG Replace the MAIN Assy.
Has the signal arrived at CN4005? No

Yes Is a signal output from CN8803? Yes Has the signal come to TP8825 or TP8826? Yes No Check the contact between the CN8803 and R8886. Check the contact between the CN8803 and R8887. Check the communication between the CN8803 and Jack. If there was no ploblem, replace IO Assy. NG Replace the TANSHI Assy. No Check the Flexible cable between CN4005 and CN8803. NG Replace or reconnect flexible cable.
Input signal: 1kHz Sound volume is fixed to 25.
