Automatic programming Setting for Other satellites
Setting selection: 1. Mark Selection with the yellow buttons w v. 2. Set 1, 2, 3 or 4 with the buttons + or . Entering oscillator frequency: 1. Mark LO frequ with the yellow buttons w v. 2. Enter the oscillator frequency of the LNC with the numeric buttons on the remote control.
The set frequency range (band) must be assigned the LNC oscillator frequency of the connected satellite converter in order for the right reception frequency to be displayed.
Sound settings Some satellite stations broadcast the TV sound on one sound carrier frequency in mono and on another sound carrier frequency in stereo. Stations which broadcast sport usually offer a selection of several languages. In addition radio broadcasts can be transmitted on other sound carrier frequencies (it is best to set these in the Station search and store menu, see page 86 onwards). Which sound carrier frequency and which sound mode you need to set depends on the satellite station. Your dealer will give you information. If the stations of the selected satellite transmit with different sound carrier frequencies, manual setting is necessary with the Station - Search and store menu after automatic programming! The different sound carrier frequencies are called with the following buttons: 0 = 5,80 MHz 5 = 7,20 MHz 1 = 6,50 MHz 6 = 7,38 MHz 2 = 6,60 MHz 7 = 7,56 MHz 3 = 6,65 MHz 8 = 7,74 MHz 4 = 7,02 MHz 9 = 7,92 MHz The sound carrier frequencies can also be set with the buttons + in 10 kHz steps from 5.50 to 9.10 MHz. If the sound is distorted or two different sounds are audible, a wrong sound mode is set. In this case set Mono = M/280 or M/180 instead of stereo. 77
