Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

English 16. Altering the operating voltage and frequency (Reserved for technical staff only)
If the factory preset operating voltage and frequency do not correspond to those in use in your country of operation, you may alter the settings as described in the following paragraphs. Incorrect selection of operating voltage and frequency will seriously compromise the functioning of the projector and immediately void the warranty.
16.1. Selecting the voltage on the autotransfomer
1) Loosen the screws on the cover of the base of the unit, as shown in the diagram below, using a Philips head screwdriver, thereby removing the cover completely and allowing access to the internal components of the base of the ProSpot 575 LX.
2) Locate the autotransformer in the base of the unit.
3) Select a voltage from amongst 100, 115, 208, 230 and 240V by removing cable n° 6 and moving it to the required voltage. To determine which is the correct tap, refer to the sticker located on the autotransformer. Cables number 11 and 21 should not be moved under any circumstances. 4) If the operating voltage selected is 115V replace the 8 Amp T fuse (which is suitable for 208/230/245 V operation) with one rated at 15 Amps T. The fuseholder is located in the base of the unit. The operation should be reversed should the voltages be reversed. Replacement fuses of suitable ratings were provided in the packaging of your fixture with this manual.
