a. Focus Adjustment
1) Press the CH UP/DOWN key on the remote to select "DDP3021" on menu and press the ASPECT key 8 times to select "Focus pattern (SPA OFF)." 2) Confirm that each of the pixels in the center is clearly visible.
b. Verifying the Smooth Picture Gain Adjustment on the screen
1) Press the ASPECT key once from "Focus pattern" to select "Smooth picture pattern" in DDP3021. 2) Confirm that each set of R, G, B lines is straight. 3) If not, press any key to release this mode and adjust with the following procedure. (In DDP3021 mode, this adjustment cannot be performed.) 4) Press the CH UP/DOWN key on the remote to select "SP GAIN ADJUST" on Other menu and press the ASPECT key on the remote. 5) Adjust SP GAIN ADJUST so that each R, G, B line is straight by holding down the VOLUME UP/DOWN key to change the value.

3) If not, loosen the Knob on the Projection Lens until the Knob can be moved.

6) After adjusting, press the ASPECT key to return to Other menu. Note: While adjusting, do not press the RECALL key on the remote. Otherwise, the screen may be reflected or frozen. If this occurs, turn off the power and re-adjust.
