I Have looked for this manual for quiet a while now, I have finally found it here. I believe this is the only place they have them in a very nice scan, pages are very clear to read, some of the pages are a bit tilted but overall it is great to have this manual available for purchase. Thanks

Plug in the AC Cord.
Check the voltage at the following points. Between Pin 1 and Pin 2 of CN851: approx. +120 V OK
NG
Check the parts (Ref No. 800 series) on the Power P.C.B. and replace any defective parts.
Unplug the AC Cord. Remove the jumper wire between TP810 and TP805 on the Power P.C.B. Reconnect all connector cables, then reinstall the Power P.C.B. into the unit.
Plug in the AC Cord and turn the power ON. NG OK There is no problem with the Power P.C.B.
Does the Lamp light up?
There is no problem with the Power P.C.B., however, the other P.C.B.s are defective. Check the Main P.C.B. and the Rear Jack P.C.B., and repair if necessary. Refer to "CHECKING THE OPT/TV UNIT."
Still NG Replace the Lamp Unit.
