Everything in the manual was excellent except for a couple of pictures of specific areas in the unit that were a little dark. Owners Manuals re-sent the pdf file & the problem was corrected. Excellent product! George
This is the original manufacturers service manual, with detailed info on the circit boards, explosion drawings of all parts in assembly order, and tuning instructions. Tape cannot be fully inserted into cassette carriage. Cassette door opener lever is broken due to deformed spring.

REMEDY:
Repair the cassette carriage using the new service kit by following the procedure below. The part number for the kit is VXAS4432 and is available from Parts Department. Note: The kit includes cassette lever, lock washer and cassette door opener spring.
PROCEDURE: 1. Remove the cassette cover. 2. Remove the defective cassette door opener and replace with a new one from the kit. 3. Align the indentation on the cassette opener to the hole of the cassette up unit.
Turn cassette door opener fully clockwise and remove cut washer. Remove defective cassette opener.
Install the cassette door opener and align the indentation of the cassette opener with the hole on the cassette up unit. Install lock washer.
