Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Anwendung der Zeitkorrektur-Funktion
In jedem beliebigem Fahrzeug ist es nahezu unmöglich, dass die Entfernung zwischen allen Lautsprechern gleich ist. Mit Hilfe dieser Funktion kann der Ton von den Lautsprechern, die sich näher am Zuhörer befinden, verzögert werden. Dadurch scheint die Entfernung zu weiter entfernt platzierten Lautsprechern gleich zu sein.

Setzen Sie sich in Zuhörposition (Fahrersitz usw.) und messen Sie die Entfernung (in Metern) zwischen Ihrem Kopf und den verschiedenen Lautsprechern. Berechnen Sie die Differenz zwischen der Entfernung vom am weitesten entfernt platzierten Lautsprecher zu den anderen Lautsprechern. L= (Entfernung zum am weitesten entfernt platzierten Lautsprecher) � (Entfernung zu den anderen Lautsprechern) Teilen Sie die für die Lautsprecher berechneten Entfernungen durch die Tongeschwindigkeit (343 m/s bei 20°C). Bei diesen Werten handelt es sich um die Zeitkorrekturwerte für die verschiedenen Lautsprecher.
