Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

b) Elektroninen säätö
(Virran tulee olla kytkettynä pois) Vedenpehmentimen tehdasasetus on 5. 1. Paina virtakytkintä. Kaikkien ohjelmapainikkeiden merkkivalot syttyvät (asetustila). Jos ainoastaan yksi ohjelmapainikkeen merkkivalo sytty, valittuna on pesuohjelma. Ohjelma tulee peruuttaa: paina yhtä aikaa toimintopainikkeita 2 ja 3 noin 2 sekuntia, käynnissä olevan pesuohjelman merkkivalo vilkkuu noin 2 sekuntia. Noin 2 sekunnin kuluttua kaikkien ohjelmapainikkeiden merkkivalot syttyvät osoittamaan, että asetettu ohjelma on peruutettu ja laite on asetustilassa. 2. Paina painikkeita 2 ja 3 yhtä aikaa, kunnes painikkeiden 1, 2 ja 3 merkkivalot alkavat vilkkua. 3. Paina toimintopainiketta 1; toimintopainikkeiden 2 ja 3 merkkivalot sammuvat ja toimintopainikkeen 1 merkkivalo jatkaa vilkkumista. Samalla ohjelman loppu -merkkivalo alkaa vilkkua. Sen hetkinen taso osoitetaan ohjelman loppu -merkkivalon vilkutusmäärällä (ks. taulukko). Esimerkki: 5 vilkutusta = taso 5 4. Vaihda taso painamalla painiketta 1. Painikkeen jokainen painaminen muuttaa tason. (Ks. taulukosta uuden tason valinta). Esimerkkejä: jos taso on 5 ja painiketta 1 painetaan kerran, valitaan taso 6. jos taso on 10 ja painiketta 1 painetaan kerran, valitaan taso 1. 5. Kytke virta pois astianpesukoneesta painamalla virtakytkintä tai odota noin minuutti, että astianpesukone palaa automaattisesti asetustavalle, uusi taso tallentuu.
