Koketoppen har fire varmesoner. De varmes opp med hjelp av magnetiske felt, eller INDUKSJON. Det betyr at � oppkok skjer raskere sammenliknet med en vanlig keramisk koketopp � sonen reagerer �øyeblikkelig� hvis du endrer en bryterinnstilling. at induksjonssonene kan fortsette å være varme etter bruk. Glasset i sonene tåler varme, kulde og temperatursjokk, men er ømfintlig for slag. En krydderkvern eller et krydderglass som faller ned, kan være nok til at koketoppen sprekker. Du må aldri stå på koketoppen eller bruke den som avlastnings- eller oppbevaringsplass.
