This is a good quality scan of the Operation & Maintenance (Service) Manual for the PAL version of this high-band broadcast umatic, BVU-800P
All schematics and lineup procedures appear to be included in this one manual AFAICT.
The file size is just over 113 MB which gives an idea of the quality and number of pages.
All of the schematics, which contain some fairly small print, are easily readable when you zoom into the page.

6-12. HOW TO CHECK TILT SENSOR
The module QW-1471 uses the tilt sensor which enable the EL back light to be switched on automatically. For the repairing of the tilt sensor, please replace the PCB ass'y or the module with new one. Because the special equipments are necessary for fixing and adjustment of the tilt sensor. Please check and repair the tilt sensor according to the following procedure. A new PCB ass'y or the module as spare parts will be supplied from CASIO with the factory adjustment on the tilt sensor.
CHECKING OF TILT SENSOR
Switch the auto backlight function on.
Tilt the watch towards you for 45 degree from the position that is parallel to ground. Repeat the tiltings for 20 times.

Is the EL light switched on more than 15 times ?
NO
The sensitivity of the sensor is acceptable.
Replace the PCB ass'y or the module with new one.
