Very quality copy of original service manual, which contains the circuit diagrams, PCB and lists of components, well as recommendation for calibration procedures of device, also everything else, that need for repair, tuning and use this oscilloscope.
All presented copies have high-resolution, so you can view all in detail.
This manual will very useful for simple owners and for repairers.
I recommend these manual, because myself is owner of Philips PM3216 and I need sometimes servicing these oscilloscope (principally calibrating).
Also, these document is an example of excellent design of technical documentation.

6. PRECAUTIONS FOR REPAIR: MODULE QW-1498 6-1. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Open the back cover and see the display. When �CLOSE� appears on the display, close the back cover and wait for 2 minutes until �CLOSE� disappears. Then open the back cover again. 2. Replace the battery with new one. 3. Perform AC operation according to the procedure 6-2. 4. Close the back cover according to the procedure 6-3. When �WAIT� appears on the display, wait 12 minute at most. Watch can be used after �WAIT� disappears.
6-2. AC (ALL CLEAR)
Perform AC (ALL CLEAR) when inserting a new battery, or else the memories and/ or counters may give erratic displays. Touch the AC contact and the positive (+) side of the battery or main plate with the metallic tweezers. The contact should be made for about two seconds.

6-3. ON CLOSING THE BACK COVER
On closing the back cover, be sure to touch the back cover, piezo and steel plate with the metallic tweezers like AC operation. The contact should be made three times as follows. 1. Between the piezo and the steel plate 2. Between the piezo and the back cover 3 3. Between the steel plate and the back cover This procedure is for removing of electricity from the back 2 cover, and should be made always on closing the back cover. 1
