6-3. ADJUSTMENT OF THE THERMAL SENSOR
Prepare the following instruments: a) Module b) Standard Thermometer c) Screw driver 1) Remove the Sheet/Insulation 1405-2. 2) Make the Module operated : Change to the THERMAL SENSOR D 1 2 3 4 ADJUSTMENT MODE. Touch the AC contact and the Main plate with the tweezers : AC-ON Press B button with the above condition : B-button ON Release the tweezers with the above condition : AC-OFF Release B button : B-button OFF B-button 2 4

3) Compare the temperature of the Module Indication with the Standard thermometer. Difference should be within 0.5 °C. If the difference is more than 0.5 °C, proceed next steps. 4) (a) Turn the variable resistor to the left, when the value a of module exceeds the value of standard thermometer. Turn the variable resistor to the right, when the value of Module is less than the value of Standard thermometer. b

Note : The adjustment of the Thermal sensor should be made within 0.5 °C comparing to the Standard thermometer. VARIABLE RESISTOR 5) Leave the watch for 10 minutes after the adjustment. And compare the temperature of the module indication with the standard thermometer. If the difference is more than 0.5 °C, proceed from the step 3) again. 6) Press A or B button to release the THERMAL SENSOR ADJUSTMENT MODE. Important : Never touch the thermistor with fingers or blow your breath while adjusting the variable resistor. To achieve heat balance, the watch requires about 30 minutes.
