Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
MANUAL OPERATIONS
Microwave Time Cooking
This is a manual cooking feature, first enter the cooking time then the power level. There are five different power levels. You can programme up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds. Power level Approximate percentage of microwave power Examples of foods typically cooked on different microwave power levels

To lower the power press the POWER LEVEL pad once. Note the display will indicate �HIGH�. To lower to �M�HIGH� press the POWER LEVEL pad again. Repeat as necessary to select �MEDIUM�, �M�LOW� or �LOW� power levels. * Suppose you want to cook Fish Fillets for 10 minutes on MEDIUM power. Step Procedure Enter desired cooking time. The timer begins to count down.
If the door is opened during the cooking process, the cooking time in the display automatically stops. The cooking time starts to count down again when the door is closed and the INSTANT COOK/START pad is pressed. If you want to check the power level during the cooking, press POWER LEVEL pad. As long as your finger is pressing the POWER LEVEL pad, the power level will be displayed.
