Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
For private listening Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES jack. No sound comes out of the speakers. Be sure to turn down the volume before connecting or putting on headphones.
Using Batteries
Power Batteries (6 pcs.): You can operate the System on batteries. When the batteries are exhausted, �NO BATT� will appear on the display. In this case, replace with the new batteries. Memory Backup Batteries (3 pcs.): Your settings such as the preset stations, clock and timer are backed up with this batteries. CAUTION: If memory backup batteries are exhausted or not installed, and the AC power cord is disconnected or there is a power failure, the settings you have made will be erased from memory in approx. half a day.
Reinforcing the Bass Sound (AHB PRO) [RD-T7RGN Only]
You can reinforce the bass sound to maintain rich, full bass at low volume (you can use this effect only for playback): To get the effect, press the AHB (Active Hyper Bass) PRO button. The �BASS� indicator lights up on the display. To cancel the effect, press the button again. The �BASS� indicator goes out.
Tone Control (BASS/TREBLE)
You can control the tone by changing the bass and treble.
s Press the BASS/TREBLE button until "BASS" 1.
or "TREBLE" appears on the display.
Each time you press the button, the display changes as follows: BASS = TREBLE = original display = (back to the beginning)
s Turn the Jog dial on the Unit or press the 2.
VOLUME +/� button on the Remote Control to adjust the level.
The bass or treble level changes between �6 and +6. (0: Flat)
To exit the tone control mode, press the BASS/TREBLE button until the original display appears, or wait for 15 seconds. To forcibly reset the bass and treble levels to 0 (FLAT), press the BASS/TREBLE button for 2 seconds or more.
Showing the Time (CLOCK/ DISPLAY)
While listening to a CD or the radio, you can see the current time. To display the clock, press the CLOCK/DISPLAY button on the Unit. To return to the original display, press the same button until the original display appears. Note: You need to set the clock first in order for it to work. (See "Setting the Clock" on page 10.)
Adjusting the Brightness (DIMMER) [RD-T7RGN Only]
When the Unit is operated on AC power, you can adjust the brightness of the display's backlighting.
When the Unit is turned on ����
Each time you press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button on the Unit, the backlight fully turns on or dims.
When the Unit is turned off (Standby) �
Each time you press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button on the Unit, the backlight dims or turns off. When the Unit is operated on batteries, you can turn on or off the backlighting of the display.
When the Unit is turned on ����
Each time you press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button on the Unit, the backlight turns on or off.
