Generally speaking good copy; a few pages too hard contrast...
Good service and communication.

I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Being a user of older radios of many kinds, preferring them over more modern rigs, this manual was invaluable in the programming of my two. I now know for certain what the assorted buttons functions are, and am very grateful to have found this excellent site. Many thanks for your assistance, Tony.
General operating instructions
Adjusting the tone and the balance/fader
The TravelPilot allows you to make separate adjustments to the bass and treble for each audio source. The settings selected for the balance, the fader and the Loudness are the same for all of the audio sources. To adjust the audio settings, Switch to the audio source (AM, FM, CD player or CD changer) for which you would like to make the adjustments. Press AUD :. This activates the audio menu which is used to make the tone adjustments. Use / on the rocker switch 7 to move the selector bar to the menu item you would like to adjust, and Press OK 8 or << >> on the rocker switch 7. The control lever will appear surrounded by a frame. Use << >> on the rocker switch 7 to make the desired adjustment. If you would like to save the adjustments made, Press OK 8. If you do not want to save the new adjustments and would like to return to the previous settings, Press ESC 9. Note: If no key is pressed, the system will automatically return to the previous menu after 30 seconds (TimeOut).
