Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Appuyez sur . L�appareil balayera la mémoire de préréglages à la recherche de 12 stations sur la bande AM I/AM II ou de 18 stations des bandes FM I ou FM II et FM III. Il s�arrêtera 8 secondes à chaque station préréglée, puis passera à la suivante. Appuyez à nouveau sur pour arrêter Preset Scan Tuning et rester sur la fréquence sélectionnée.

Sélection Local/Distant (LO/DX)
Cette caractéristique sert à sélectionner la puissance des signaux auxquels la radio s�arrêtera pendant l�accord de recherche. Appuyez sur LD/SENS plus de 2 secondes pour sélectionner le réglage Local, seulement les stations puissantes (locales) seront reçues. L�indicateur �lo� apparaît dans la fenêtre d�affichage. Une nouvelle pression de 2 secondes sélectionnera le réglage Distant et la radio s�arrêtera à une gamme plus large de signaux, incluant des stations éloignées plus faibles. L�indicateur �lo� s�éteindra sur la fenêtre d�affichage. Le réglage �Distant� est le mode de réception par défaut recommandé.

Appuyer sur la touche ou plus de 0,5 seconde pour activer le mode de syntonisation manuelle. Appuyez à nouveau pour capter une station. 4 secondes après la fin de la syntonisation manuelle, la commande de syntonisation revient au mode de localisation des émetteurs.
Maintenir la touche AM ou FM enfoncée pendant plus de 2 secondes. Vous pouvez ainsi placer jusqu�à 6 émetteurs avec un signal puissant dans la mémoire des présélections correspondant à la bande souhaitée.
Remarque
Cette fonction est disponible pour les ondes FM III et AM II.

A l�accord d�une station émettrice, l�indicateur d�antenne de la fenêtre d�affichage est allumé.
Appuyer sur la touche de présélection souhaitée 1 - 6/ et la maintenir enfoncée pendant environ deux secondes jusqu�à ce que l�indicateur de fréquence clignote deux fois. Le numéro de la touche de présélection sollicitée apparaît alors dans la fenêtre d�affichage.
Remarque
Lors de la sauvegarde d�un nouvel émetteur à un emplacement de présélection déjà occupé, l�émetteur mémorisé en premier est remplacé.
