Genuine Toshiba owner's manual. Couldn't really ask for more. And written in understandable English in contrast to a few recent experiences I have had with manuals for other equipment other than Toshiba but made in China and written in "Chinglish"!

If you already have a CDROM, DVDROM or other drive attached to your computer, go to step 7. Find the �at ribbon (IDE) cable, which goes from your hard disc drive to your motherboard. Next to the connection of this cable on your motherboard is the second IDE connector/cable. Attach your new drive to this second cable, which goes into the second IDE connector. Your new drive must be set to MASTER.
