Congratulations on purchasing the Samson S11 Microphone! This professional quality dynamic mic is specially designed for use in live performance and public address environments. Its dynamic design enables it to tolerate high sound pressure levels (SPLs) such as those generated by drums and amplified instruments, and its cardioid pattern ensures the delivery of a strong, crisp signal from the audio source directly in front of the mic capsule. The S11 is particularly well-suited for use with Samson wireless systems. In this manual, you�ll find a more detailed description of the features of your S11 microphone, as well as instructions for using your S11, and full specifications. You�ll also find a warranty card enclosed� don�t forget to fill it out and mail it in! This will enable you to receive online technical support and will allow us to send you updated information about other Samson products in the future. SPECIAL NOTE: Should your S11 ever require servicing, a Return Authorization number (RA) is necessary. Without this number, the microphone will not be accepted. Please call Samson at (516) 932-1062 for a Return Authorization number prior to shipping your microphone. Please retain the original packing material and, if possible, return the S11 in its original carton and packing materials.

The Samson S11 utilizes state-of-the-art microphone technology. Here are some of its main features: � Rugged dynamic capsule enables the S11 to be used with high sound pressure level signals (such as drums and amplified instruments) and ensures reliable performance in even the most demanding environments. � Cardioid pattern reduces feedback problems by rejecting signals originating behind the mic capsule. � Full range frequency response allows natural reproduction of all audio sources. � Low impedance output enables the S11 to send strong, full bandwidth signal over long cable runs. � Lightweight (just 8 ounces) and compact (less than 9 inches in length, including head), the S11 can be mounted on any standard microphone stand (using the included mic clip) or can be easily handheld for long periods without inducing fatigue.
