The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.
it is working beautifully and I am well pleased. Keep up the good work Guys.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.
SURROUND
You can add natural width and depth to the stereo sound.
Changing sound field and quality
Press [SURROUND].
Every time you press the button: SURROUND 1: Natural effect SURROUND 2: Enhanced effect SURROUND OFF: Cancel (factory preset) � � � � This does not work or has less effect with some discs. Turn off if it causes distortion. Do not use in combination with surround effects on other equipment. You cannot change SURROUND during recording.

Press [SOUND].
Every time you press the button:

1 Press and hold [SOUND].
�BASS� and �TREBLE� appear on the display.

is flashing to change the level (�4 to +4) and press [LIST/ENTER].
� You cannot change SOUND (Sound field and quality) during recording.
Seating position
Muting the volume
Press [MUTING].
Volume is reduced to minimum. To cancel Press [MUTING] again or reduce the volume to minimum, then raise it to the required level. Muting is also canceled when you switch the unit to standby.
