Great Manual! It contains all the wiring schematics and mechanical exploded views that are essential for service and repair. I was surprised I even found this for such an old machine. Only wish I knew of this site many years ago.

Good pdf of the service manual for this unit. Includes disassembly instructions, full schematics, board layouts, parts lists and diagnostic information. Some information is in the pdf twice (single pages, and split pages), but that could be how it was originally generated by panasonic, or perhaps the idea is to make it eaiser to put onto 8.5 x 11" pages.
Information was exactly what I needed. Delivery was overnight (less than 12 hours) and I was happy with the process.

OEM manual provided all schematics, board layouts and component specs necessary to facilitate unit maintenance. All pages were clear and readable.
SAT-W60 SECTION 3 SYSTEM SELF TEST
SELF TEST:
1. From home page go to [settings]. 2. Go to [system test]. a. Connect a phone line to the phone jack on the back of the unit. b. Connect both tuners to a SAT signal. c. Make sure that the CAM card is in. 3. Press [Run Test]. This test checks both tuner's signal and that the modem detects a dial tone. Also, it checks that the CAM card is inserted and valid. Test will show the serial number on the card. 4. Go to [Receiver Info] from the same system test menu. This provides the following information on the box: � Manufacturer: Sony Model number: � Serial number: � Client software: � Boot rom version: � SSID: 5. To show the date the box was last upgraded along with the version, select [Upgrades] from the SAT receiver information menu. 6. Go to the settings menu and select [Hooking Up] 7. Go to [Signal Strength] This will show the signal strength for each tuner. It is also possible to change transponder numbers to verify both even and odd transponders.
