I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

4. BETRIEB
KONTROLE DER SENDERRICHWEITE Wenn der Empfänger eingeschaltet ist, überprüft er, ob der Sender sich noch in �bertragungsreichweite befindet. Wenn das Signal blockiert oder der Sender länger als 30 Sekunden au�erhalb der Reichweite des Empfängers plaziert ist, gibt der Empfänger ein akustisches Signal ab. Um dieses Signal ab zu stellen, versuchen Sie eine der folgenden Möglichkeiten: � Stellen Sie den Empfänger dichter an den Sender, um den Geräuschempfang wiederherzustellen. � Die maximale Betriebsentfernung beträgt 300 m bei idealen Bedingungen. � Schalten Sie auf den anderen �bertragungskanal (siehe Kapitel 'Kanalauswahl'). � Kontrollieren Sie die Batteriensowohl im Sender und im Empfänger (falls die Batterien erschöpft sind). G�RTELHALTER Sind Batterien eingelegt, kann die ElternEinheit vollkommen schnurlos genutzt werden. Mit dem Gürtelhalter kann die Einheit problemlos überall mit herumgetragen werden. Der Halter lä�t sich leicht an der Eltern-Einheit anbringen und wieder abnehmen (Abb. 5).
