Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Fonctions supplémentaires Utilisation du cordon de télécommande à �il infrarouge
Si la source vidéo ne réagit pas aux commandes provenant de la télécommande, connectez le cordon de télécommande à �il infrarouge. 1 Assurez-vous que l�émetteur est hors tension.

2 Connectez le cordon à �il infrarouge au connecteur infrarouge (7) de l�émetteur. 3 Situez le capteur infrarouge de la source vidéo. Il se trouve généralement sur la façade, à gauche ou à droite de l�affichage (voir mode d�emploi de votre magnétoscope, lecteur de DVD ou boîtier satellite). 4 Enlevez le ruban adhésif qui protège la lumière infrarouge, et fixez-la sur le capteur infrarouge de la source vidéo.

Remarques: � Si vous placez la lumière infrarouge à 5 ou 10 cm devant la source vidéo au lieu de le placer exactement sur l�appareil, trouver l�endroit exact ne sera pas aussi essentiel. � Certains types et marques de téléviseur réagissent aux signaux de la télécommande en produisant un son quand une commande est envoyée. � Si votre configuration ne fonctionne toujours pas correctement, reportez-vous à Dépannage. � Il est possible de contrôler les appareils de la plupart des marques, mais certains appareils de Sagem, Nokia et Bang & Olufsen ne peuvent pas être contrôlés à distance.
