This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

3. Einschalten und Losblitzen
Um mit Ihrem mecablitz zusammen mit dem Adapter SCA 3302 und einer Minolta-Kamera sofort erfolgreich Blitzaufnahmen machen zu können, müssen Sie nicht erst seitenweise Bedienungsanleitungen studieren! Die folgende kurze Einführung versetzt Sie innerhalb kürzester Zeit in die Lage, brillante Blitzlichtaufnahmen zu machen:
3.1 Programmblitzautomatik
Einige Kameras mischen in der Stellung �Programm P� Umlicht- und Blitzbeleuchtung und bestimmen - je nach Kameraprogrammierung - ob das Blitzlicht als Hauptlicht oder zur Aufhellung eingesetzt wird. Die Kamera stellt automatisch eine Zeit-Blenden-Kombination ein und steuert den Blitz im TTL-Modus (siehe auch Kapitel 4.6). 3.1.1 Einstellung an der Kamera Stellen Sie Ihre Minolta-Kamera in die Betriebsart Programm �P� (siehe Kamerabedienungsanleitung). spezielle Motiv-Programme möglich: Porträt, Landschaft, Nahaufnahme, Action- bzw. Sportprogramm usw. Siehe dazu die Kamerabedienungsanleitung. 3.1.2 Einstellung am Blitzgerät Stellen Sie Ihr Blitzgerät in die Betriebsart �TTL� oder �EM� (EM = Easy-Mode-TTL; nur bei 40 MZ-..., 50 MZ-5).
