I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Preparation: ³Do the preparatory steps 1 and 3 (á page 28). ³Insert the tape to be recorded in deck 1.

Set the tape direction on both decks.
Press [DECK 1/2] to select �DECK 2�. First press ["] or [!], and then [º]. Repeat steps and for deck 1.
Press [TAPE EDIT] to start recording.
The indicator �"� or �!� shows deck 2 direction. If either deck 1 or deck 2 stops, the other deck also stops.
To stop recording

Press [º]. Both decks will stop.
To enjoy another source while recording
Start playing the other sound source. You can change the volume level and tone quality without affecting the recording. Note The recording level and the noise reduction effect of the original (playback) tape will be recorded on the new tape.
