I was having a hard time finding the problem with this Mackie 1604 unit. I didn't have a schematic. Went looking on the web and found your site and the price was more then reasonable. Ordered it and within the hour had the manual and within 15 minutes had the unit fixed. Best $4.99 I ever spent. Thank you.

This is a service manual in every sense of the word ( French and German versions of the text are included, as well as English..)
There are explanations of the mechanical and electrical functions, plenty of mechanical drawings, and the needed schematics. The quality of the scanning is excellent - all the component values are clearly legible - and very usefully there are pcb component layouts, so you can find a component on the schematic, and then very quicky pinpoint its physical location on the relevant pcb.
I cannot see how I can give this manual any less than the maximum 5 stars! Great value for money, which will pay for itself immediately. Excellent all round!

Alignment and Adjustment
4-2-2 Camera System Adjustment
Note : The on-screen display information. âXX XXâ means arbitrary value. It can be different number depend on the conditions. 0DF T.INI XX XX
1. Focus to zoom tracking Notes : To maintain proper focus throughout the zoom range, the focus lens position must be changed as the zoom lens is moved. During this adjustment the microprocessor will measure the focus positioning requirements at the wide and telephoto position of the zoom lens. 1) Camera âE-Eâ. 2) Focus chart (Attached on the last page of this manual). 3) Aim the camera at the focus chart placed 3 meters away and perpendicular to the center of the lens. The chart should be placed on the flat, gray or white wall. 4) Connect monitor TV jack to video output jack. 5) Press the âFADE(MODE UP)â and âBLC(MODE DOWN)â button, so that the OSD start is â0DE. 3M LENS XX XXâ. 6) Press âMENU ON/OFF(CONFIRM)â button. The camera will move both zoom and focus lens. The adjustment is finished when the O.K! message appears on the TV screen. Store the data to mode 0A6, 0A7, 0A8, 0A9, 0AA, 0AB, 0AC or 0AD.
