I found this service manual to be complete in every detail except for troubleshooting charts. It would be helpful if it had a set of troubleshooting charts; however it is a very good manual otherwise and for the price it is very well worth it.

THE AUDIO CAN NOT RECORD
NO Is bias level at L101 OK? YES
In starting recording, is there sine wave at pin 11 of IC101? YES
NO
Check POWER BLOCK and voltage of base of Q103.
Check disconnection and short of L101.
Is there audio signal at pin 76, 78 and 80 of IC101? YES
NO
Check IC701 and the circuit from TUNER or audio input jack to IC701 .
Is there voltage of base of Q103 about 5V? YES
NO
Change Q103.
Is there a sine wave at pin 5 of L101? YES
NO
Change L101.
Check lead wire of A/C HEAD and CONNECTOR.
