Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

4.1 Soita puhelu
4.1.1 Numeron esivalinta 1 Valitse numero (enintään 24 numeroa). 2 Paina r-näppäintä. � Puhelu yhdistyy. Vinkki Voit liittää esivalintanumeroon esiasetettu numero, lisätietoja kohdasta katso �Valitse automaattinen suunta� sivulla 36.
� Puhelu yhdistyy. Huom. Sinun on tilattava palvelu erikseen puhelioperaattoriltasi, jos haluat että soittajan nimi ja numero näkyvät puhelutiedoissa(katso �Selaa puhelutietoja� sivulla 21).
4.1.2 Suora valinta 1 Paina v-näppäintä avataksesi linjan. 2 Valitse numero. � Puhelu yhdistyy.
4.1.5 Numeron valinta puhelinmuistiosta 1 Paina d valmiustilassa. 2 Siirry : haluamaasi kohtaan puhelinmuistiossa. 3 Paina r-näppäintä. � Puhelu yhdistyy. Vinkki Sen sijaan, että selaat : puhelinmuistiota, voit painaa haluamasi yhteystiedon ensimmäistä kirjainta vastaavaa numeronäppäintä. Esim. painamalla 2 näet kaikki yhteystiedot, jotka alkavat kirjaimella A. Painamalla uudelleen 2 näet B:llä alkavat yhteystiedot jne.
4.1.3 Numeron valinta soiton toisto luettelosta 1 Paina >UUDVAL-näppäintä valmiustilassa. 2 Siirry : haluamaasi kohtaan soiton toisto luettelossa. 3 Paina r-näppäintä. � Puhelu yhdistyy. Vinkki Puhelimeen tallentuu 20 viimeksi valittua numeroa. Viimeksi valittu numero näkyy luettelossa ensimmäisenä. Jos uudelleenvalittava numero on myös puhelinmuistiossa, luettelossa näkyy yhteystiedon nimi.
4.1.4 Numeron valinta viime puhelut luettelosta 1 Paina u valmiustilassa. 2 Siirry : kohtaan Soittolista, Vast. tai SMS ja paina mVALIT siirtyäksesi haluamaasi alavalikkoon.
4.2 Vastaa puheluun Kun puhelin soi, paina näppäintä r. � Puhelu yhdistyy. Huom. Tulevat puhelut ohittavat kaikki muut toiminnot. Kun puhelin soi, kaikki muut toiminnot (asetukset, valikkojen selaaminen ym.) keskeytyvät. Vinkki Jos Auto Vast. (katso �Ota Automaattivastaus käyttöön/pois käytöstä� sivulla 32) on käytössä, voit vastata puheluun yksinkertaisesti nostamalla puhelimen pois tukiasemasta. Tämä toiminto ei ole käytössä automaattisesti. Varoitus Kun puhelin soi, pidä kuuloke riittävän etäällä korvastasi. Soittoääni voi vahingoittaa kuuloasi.
