[Operational check] <RADF(SF-A54)> a. Sort mode Make 20 copies in the sort mode. Ensure that there is no abnormal sound generated from the sorter and copy papers are released onto the SOR bins. b. Non-sort mode Make several copies to ensure that copy papers are released onto the non-sort bin. c. Staple mode Set two or more documents on the ADF unit and make copies in the staple mode. Ensure that copy papers are released onto the sort bins and the stapler guide bar aligns them and they are stapled by the stapler gun.
m. Paste the green label. @ With the sorter release lever being raised, remove the stapler sorter from the copier. @ Paste the green label on the location at the paper exit area handle. @ While holding the sorter release lever, replace the staple sorter to its original position. Here, check that the staple sorter has been locked to the copier.
<If a staple failed to bind> a. If copy papers were failed to staple, open the staple gun cover, raise the staple cartridge holding wire up and remove the cartridge from the stapler gun.
Staple cover b. Check the staple cartridge. Check staples in a sheet form are stacked properly.

If not, move staples back in the arrowhead while lightly . . pressing the bottom of the cartridge.
n. Mode setup @ Fasten the power plug to the wall outlet and turn the power on, @ $et the mode on the copier keypad.
