Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Akkujen asentaminen/vaihtaminen
1 Avaa FM-kuulokelaitteen pohjassa olevan akkulokeron luukku.

2 Asenna ladattava akku. 3 Tarkista, että akku on asennettu oikein eli akkulokeron luukun napaisuusmerkintöjen mukaisesti. 4 Sulje akkulokeron luukku.
Käynnistä FM-lähetin

5 Tarkista, että verkkolaitteen tyyppikilpeen merkitty nimellisjännite on sama kuin paikallinen verkkojännite. 6 Yhdistä 12 V/200mA AC/DC -verkkolaitteen DC-lähtöliitin lähettimen takaosassa olevaan DC-TULOLIITIN-jakkiin. 7 Kytke 12 V/200mA AC/DC-verkkolaite pistorasiaan. Ota verkkolaite pois pistorasiasta, jos et aio käyttää lähetintä pitkään aikaan.
FM-kuulokkeen lataaminen
8 Avaa FM-lähettimen kansi. 9 Aseta FM-kuuloke FM-lähettimeen (johon viitataan seuraavissa teksteissä myös nimellä lataava telakointiasema). 10 Tarkista, että FM-kuulokkeen pohjassa olevat latauskoskettimet ovat kunnolla telakointiaseman koskettimien kohdalla. 11 Sulje telakointiaseman kansi. 12 Telakointiaseman etuosassa näkyvä LATAUSTIEDOT-valo palaa vihreänä ja sammuu automaattisesti latauksen loputtua.
