This is one of four manuals I have downloaded recently.
Purchase was very straight forward and the authorising email arrived in about 4 hours.
The quality of the scan is good. Print is clear and square to the page edges.
Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!
Top marks.

Chapter 2. Using Effects
Type 5. PHASER (S/R = ON) Adds modulation to the sound. * When Send/Return mode is on: (S/R = OFF) * When Send/Return mode is off:
CTRL 1 (display) DEPTH/RESONANCE (d-r) Adjusts both DEPTH and RESONANCE simultaneously. DEPTH/MANUAL (dPt) Adjusts the depth of modulation. If the CTRL 2 knob (RATE) is turned all the way to the left, this knob adjusts the pitch (MANUAL). DEPTH (dPt) Adjusts the amount of volume/ pan change.
CTRL 2 (display) RATE (rAt) Adjusts the rate of modulation.
6. TREMOLO/PAN Cyclically varies the volume or pan.
RATE (rAt) Adjusts the rate of modulation. If this knob is turned all the way to the left, the modulation will stop, and the CTRL 1 knob (DEPTH) will adjust the pitch (MANUAL). RATE (rAt) Adjusts the speed of volume/ pan change.
CTRL 3 (display) BALANCE (bAL) Adjusts the volume balance between the direct sound and effect sound. RESONANCE (rES) Gives a distinctive character to the sound.
7. DISTORTION Intensely distorts the sound. 8. OVERDRIVE Mildly distorts the sound. 9. FUZZ Adds overtones to the sound to distort it intensely. 10. WAH Creates a wah effect. 11. OCTAVE Adds a lower pitch at octave intervals. 12. COMP (LIMIT = OFF) Makes the volume more consistent. * When Effect Limit mode is off: (LIMIT = ON) * When Effect Limit mode is on: 13. EQUALIZER Adjusts the volume of each frequency range. 14. LO-Fi Gives the sound a low-fidelity character. 15. NOISE GEN Creates noise.
DRIVE (drV) Adjusts the amount of distortion. DRIVE (drV) Adjusts the amount of distortion. DRIVE (drV) Adjusts the amount of distortion. SENS (SnS) Adjusts the sensitivity of the wah effect. -2OCT LEVEL (oC2) Adds a pitch two octaves below. SUSTAIN (SuS) Adjusts the amount of compression. SUSTAIN (SuS) Adjusts the amount of compression. LOW (Lo) Adjusts the volume of the lowfrequency range. SAMPLE RATE (rAt) Adjusts the sampling frequency. COLOR (CoL) Adjusts the tone of the shhh noise. TUNING (tun) Adjusts the tuning drift of a radio. TIMING PTN (P0116) Specifies the timing at which the sound is cut. (*2) FREQUENCY (Frq) Adjusts the pitch of the metallic sound. PITCH 1 (-CCC) Adjusts Pitch 1 in semitone steps over a +/-1 octave range.
TONE (ton) Adjusts the tone. TONE (ton) Adjusts the tone. TONE (ton) Adjusts the tone. FREQUENCY (Frq) Adjusts the pitch of the effect sound. -1OCT LEVEL (oC1) Adds a pitch one octave below. ATTACK (Att) Adjusts the sense of attack.
WAVEFORM (trM/PAn) Changes the type of curve by which the volume or pan will change cyclically. Turn the knob toward the left for volume change, or toward the right for pan change. LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the volume. LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the volume. LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the volume. RESONANCE (rES) Adjusts the peak amount of the wah. DIRECT LEVEL (dir) Adjusts the volume of the direct sound. LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the volume.
RELEASE (rEL) Adjusts the sense of release. MID (Mid) Adjusts the volume of the midfrequency range. BIT (bit) Adjusts the bit depth. QUALITY (qLt) Adjusts how often scratch noise (typical of an analog record) will be heard. NOISE LEVEL (noS) Adjusts the volume of the noise. RATE (t1t8) Adjusts the length of TIMING PTN. (*3) SENS (SEn) Adjusts the depth of frequency modulation. PITCH 2 (-CCC) Adjusts Pitch 2 in semitone steps over a +/-1 octave range.
LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the volume. HIGH (Hi) Adjusts the volume of the highfrequency range. FILTER (FLt) Adjusts the filter depth. LEVEL (LEV) Adjusts the level of the shhh noise. FREQUENCY RANGE (Frq) Adjusts the tonal character. FEEDBACK (Fdb) Adjusts the depth of the flanger. BALANCE (bAL) Adjusts the volume balance of the direct sound and effect sound. BALANCE (bAL) Adjusts the volume balance of the direct sound and effect sound.
16. RADIO TUNING Simulates the sound heard from a radio. 17. SLICER Repetitively cuts the sound. A flanger is also applied. 18. RING MOD Gives a metallic character to the sound. 19. CHROMATIC PS This is a two-voice pitch shifter that changes the pitch in semitone steps.
