This is the original manufacturers service manual, with detailed info on the circit boards, explosion drawings of all parts in assembly order, and tuning instructions. The only thing missing is the information on the dimensions of the various drive belts. mail me if you need them. gcrossman_at_aol.com

This service manual for the Kenwood KT-990D was reproduced really well ,is very legible and manual is complete.Combined with the low price paid,in the future,I will be checking Owner-Manuals.com any time I need a manual.

When I purchased this manual I had my doubts regarding the quality as the price was so reasonable as compared to other outlets.
The manual itself is of high standard the print is very clear as are the diagrams. Obviously with the diagrams one has to zoom in otherwise it is to small to be able to read.
Overall I am very pleased with the company who delivered as they said and with the manual they supplied.
I occasionally require a manual and now having registered with this company I shall order from them in the future.
Talking between the handset and the base phone (Intercom)
You can talk between the base phone and the handset. You can start the intercom from either phone.
To talk from the handset to the base phone
(TALK/FLASH)
Press (INTERCOM) on the handset. After the base phone rings once, you will be connected automatically. When a person at the base phone answers, you can talk. The INTERCOM lamp on the handset and the base phone will light up. When you are done talking Press (OFF).
(OFF) (INTERCOM)
To talk from the base phone to the handset
Press (INTERCOM) on the base phone. The handset rings. When the person at the handset presses (INTERCOM), you can talk. The INTERCOM lamp on the handset and the base phone will light up.
(INTERCOM) (SPEAKERPHONE)

When you are done talking or if no one answers the phone Press (INTERCOM) again.
Notes � The call to the handset will stop automatically if it is unanswered for a minute. � If there is an incoming call while on the intercom, the ringer will ring on both the base phone and the handset. To answer the call, press (TALK/FLASH) on the handset or (SPEAKERPHONE) on the base phone. The intercom will be disconnected automatically, and the call will be connected to the unit whose button you have pressed. Telephone Features
