It is perfect, exactly what we needed. It's like the paper version but less clutter.

Received my manual within 24 hours. Very clear scan of the manual I needed. Thanks!

Very clear scan, I recommend it. Definitely a must have for any 3362 owner.
Alpine could have written a slightly more complete manual, though. It's already pretty huge, but the unit has so many functions, I feel some more explanation would have been better.
Yamaha's manual of their comparable YDSP-1 is a little better in my opinion.

Immediate response with excellent service - highly reccommended

Correct manual received and of good quality but the contents of the file for the Service Manual for the same monitor is for a 20" TV not the RGB Monitor.
Upgrading simply means replacing those electronic components which tend to fail if the receiver has not been kept reasonably cool. If you are familiar with the use of a soldering iron and the safety precautions required when working on mains-powered equipment then you can order an upgrade kit from: Faults If your receiver appears to be faulty, the first thing you should do is to unplug it from the mains power for a few minutes. If this cures the fault then it was probably caused by a mains surge. Make sure that no wires inside the mains plug are loose all screws tight and that the outer plastic sheath of the mains cable is clamped firmly where it enters the plug. Read the section about mains surges. If unplugging it for a few minutes does not cure the fault then overheating may be to blame. Try leaving the receiver unplugged for an hour or two. If this cures the fault temporarily then it is suffering from an intermittent fault and must be repaired and upgraded before it becomes worse. No audio at all (no hiss): often caused by selecting MAC instead of PAL in the menu. Read the relevent section and make sure that PAL is selected. No audio except hiss is usually caused by a badly soldered joint on the chip beneath the main circuit board. No decoder messages: if unplugging does not cure this then the decoder box inside may need to be repaired Sparkly pictures can have a multitude of causes. If sparklies are both black and white then a poor signal is the cause. Ensure VIDEO DEVIATION is set to NARROW. The tuner module may be at fault but it is possible that the dish has moved out of line or the cable or LNB are faulty. Of course, very heavy rain or snow can also cause this fault, as can anything obstructing the dish (such as a tree). If the sparklies are only black or only white then the tuning is incorrect. Make sure that the affected channels have the correct frequency set then try the Global FINE TUNE setting for the best picture quality on all channels. Red and green lights flashing on and off simultaneously: indicates no voltage going to the LNB or a short circuit on the cable or screw connector. Try unplugging the receiver from the mains, disconnecting the screw connector and re-applying mains power. If the receiver will come on (green light by itself) and you can change channel (but no picture of course) then there is probably a short circuit in the screw connector, the cable or the LNB on the dish. However, if both lights continue to flash with the cable disconnected, you probably have a faulty receiver. Page 12
