Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
INSTALLATION
CHOIX DE L�EMPLACEMENT DE LA BASE Afin de réduire les risques d�interférences, évitez de placer la base à moins de 1 m de tout appareil électronique (téléphone, téléviseur, ordinateur, etc). La base doit être posée sur une surface plane. Evitez de placer la base : - dans une pièce humide, - à proximité d�une source de chaleur, - à proximité d�obstacles tels que des murs épais ou des structures métalliques. MISE EN PLACE / REMPLACEMENT DES BATTERIES Votre combiné est alimenté par 2 batteries rechargeables AA/R6. En cas de remplacement, vous devez utiliser les batteries PHILIPS R6 NC-P ou Saft RC6. 1 ð Faites glisser la trappe batterie vers le bas en prenant appui sur le haut de cette même trappe. 2 ð Placez les batteries en respectant le marquage. 3 ð Refermez la trappe. Les batteries contiennent du Cadmium et doivent être éliminées conformément à la réglementation en vigueur concernant le traitement des déchets. Ne jamais utiliser des batteries non rechargeables. Le fabriquant dégage toutes responsabilités si ces recommandations ne sont pas respectées. 1 2 3 4 5 ð ð ð ð ð Fixez la vis (non fournie) conformément au schéma. Connectez le câble d�alimentation au chargeur. Fixez le chargeur sur la vis. Raccordez le bloc d�alimentation à la prise murale. Placez le combiné dans le chargeur.
