Packing the optical engine in the clamshell case
The clamshell plastic case that comes with each new engine is designed to protect the engine and color wheel during shipping and storage. When you replace an optical engine in the TDP-P4, you must put the old engine in the clamshell case in which the new engine was shipped. The case is hinged on one end, and it snaps together on the other end. 1 Place the engine in the clamshell case so that the lens and the engine chassis align with the case's molded shape.
