Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Distance des enceintes
Pour obtenir un son Surround vraiment convaincant, le signal de chaque enceinte doit atteindre l�auditeur au même moment. Pour cela, vous devez spéci�er la distance entre votre position d�écoute et les enceintes.

Appuyez sur le bouton [SETUP]. Les réglages sont terminés.

Mesurez la distance entre chaque enceinte et le point d�écoute et notez les valeurs. Appuyez sur le bouton [RECEIVER] puis sur le bouton [SETUP] de la télécommande.
Remarques: � La distance �Center� et �Subwoofer� ne peut pas dépasser la distance �Front� de plus de �5 ft� (1,5 m). Exemple: si vous choisissez la valeur �20 ft� (6 m) pour �Front�, vous devez régler la distance �Center� et �Subwoofer� sur �15�25 ft� (4,5�7,5 m). � La distance �Surround� et �Surround Back� ne peut pas être supérieure de plus de �5 ft� (1,5 m) ni inférieure de plus de �15 ft� (4,5 m) à la distance �Front�. Exemple: si vous choisissez la valeur �20 ft� (6 m) pour �Front�, vous devez régler les distances �SurrRight�, �Surr Left�, �Surr Back R� et �Surr Back L� sur �5�25 ft� (1,5�7,5m).

Choisissez �2. Sp Distance� avec les boutons haut/bas [ ]/[ ] puis appuyez sur le bouton [ENTER].
Niveau des enceintes (Level Calibration)
Cette fonction permet de régler individuellement le volume des enceintes a�n d�obtenir des signaux de même intensité à la position d�écoute.
Vous ne pouvez pas régler le niveau des enceintes tant que le son du ampli-tuner AV est étouffé.

Tant qu��Unit� est af�ché, puis sélectionnez feet ou m eters avec les boutons gauche/droite ]/[ ]: feet: Activez cette option pour entrer les distances en pieds (�feet�). La plage de réglage va de 1�30 pieds par pas de 1 pied. meters: Activez cette option pour entrer les distances en mètres. La plage de réglage va de 0,3� 9 mètres par pas de 0,3 m. [

Choisissez �Front� avec le bouton bas [ ] puis dé�nissez la distance �front speakers� avec les boutons gauche/droite [ ]/[ ] puis appuyez sur le bouton bas [ ] pour choisir l�enceinte suivante. Répétez l�étape étape 5 pour toutes les enceintes. Remarque: Les enceintes que vous avez réglées sur �No� ou �None� avec le paramètre Speaker Con�guration (page 32) ne sont pas disponibles.
Choisissez �3. Level Cal� avec les boutons haut/bas [ ]/[ ] puis appuyez sur le bouton [ENTER]. L�enceinte avant gauche produit le signal de test de bruit rose.
