I was having a hard time finding the problem with this Mackie 1604 unit. I didn't have a schematic. Went looking on the web and found your site and the price was more then reasonable. Ordered it and within the hour had the manual and within 15 minutes had the unit fixed. Best $4.99 I ever spent. Thank you.

This is a service manual in every sense of the word ( French and German versions of the text are included, as well as English..)
There are explanations of the mechanical and electrical functions, plenty of mechanical drawings, and the needed schematics. The quality of the scanning is excellent - all the component values are clearly legible - and very usefully there are pcb component layouts, so you can find a component on the schematic, and then very quicky pinpoint its physical location on the relevant pcb.
I cannot see how I can give this manual any less than the maximum 5 stars! Great value for money, which will pay for itself immediately. Excellent all round!

Mount the cover. Fasten all screws. - Mount the cover. Fasten all screws. See 9.1 Removing and mounting the cover for further information. Check line cable condition - Check the line cable and antenna cable(s) for cracks and abrasions. Recommend the replacement of any such cable to the customer. Perform an AC leakage test Check the antenna terminals and other exposed metal parts for AC leakage. - Remove the line cable from the AC source (the wall outlet). - Place a jumper across the two AC plug prongs. - Use a multi-meter, set for measurements in the Ohm-area. - Place one lead from the multi-meter on the AC plug and place the other lead on each of the exposed metal parts, that is antenna connections and other exposed metal parts on the rear panel of the BeoSystem 1. - The resistance during these measurements must be of 1 Mega Ohm or more. If resistance is below 1 Mega Ohm, this indicates an abnormal situation and corrective actions must be taken. Please note: Avoid any skin contact either with the AC plug nor the metal parts while performing the test, as it may inuence the measurement. Reconnect all leads - Reconnect all leads to BeoSystem 1, in the same way as before. Place BeoSystem 1 on its original place. Switch on the TV - Press TV to switch on the BeoSystem 1. Check all sources - Check that all sources, such as TV A, TV C, V. TAPE etc. works properly.
