I bought the service-manual of the sony ICB-1020(an old transmitter-receiver) at "www.Owners-Manual.com", I found the service-manual for a fairly cheap price(in comparison with other sellers). I filled in some questions, payed the order with Ideal, and within 24 hours I had my service manual. NOTE: The voltage for parts in hot circuit is measured using hot GND as a common terminal.
Because a hot chassis ground is present in the power supply circuit, an isolation transformer must be used. Also, in order to have the ability to increase the input slowly,when troubleshooting this type power supply circuit, a variable isolation transformer is required.
