This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Press the MENU or VIDEO Plus+ button Note : When using the VIDEO Plus+ function for the first time with stored station, the programme number flashes. This one time, you must enter the station number manually by pressing the � or �button. Refer to the following page if : o The programme number or tomes flash o You wish to modify the programme.

o Press the ¥ or � buttons, until the DAY selection flashes. o Press the � or � buttons, until the W- (Week) value is displayed. followed by the required day. Example : W - SA (Weekly Saturday)

If the programme and times are correct, press the MENU button. Press the two TIMER buttons to activate the timer. If you wish to turn the timer off any reason simply press the two TIMER buttons again. Refer to page 29 if you wish to : o Check that your VTR has been programmed correctly o Cancel a preset recording Select VPS/PDC

o Press the ¥ or � buttons, until the V/P selection flashes. o Press the � or � buttons until the ON or �-� indication is displayed. Note : Do not select VPS/PDC unless you are sure the programme you wish to record is broadcast with VPS/PDC ON (by selecting �ON� in the right hand column on the screen), then you must set up the start time EXACTLY according to the published TV schedule. Otherwise the timer recording won�t take place.

Note: The numbers next to each TV programme listing are VIDEO Plus+ code numbers, which allow you to programme your videorecorder instantly with the remote control. Tap in the VIDEO Plus+ for the programme you wish to record.

Before presetting your VTR : � Switch on both the television and your VTR � Check that the date and time are correct � Insert the cassette on which the programme is to be recorded (safety tab intact). Up to six programmes can be preset.

If you wish to correct the programme displayed or modify certain elements, such as the recording speed, you can do so before you press MENU a second time to confirm.

Press the VIDEO Plus+ button. Result : A message is displayed to allow you to enter the VIDEO Plus+ code. Note : If all six programmes have been set, the message TIMER IS FULL is displayed. Refer to page 29 if you wish to cancel a preset recording.

If you wish to...
Select an input source other than the tuner (AV1 or AV2)

Then...
o Press the ¥ or � buttons, until the PR selection flashes. o Press I.SELECT button one or more times to change the input source selection. Result : The programme number is replaced by : � A1 or A2 for a satellite tuner or external video input (used by another VTR for example) The input source must be selected before changing any other value.

Press the numeric buttons to enter the code opposite the programme that you wish to record in your television magazine. Note : If you wish to correct the VIDEO Plus+ code that you are entering. o Press the ¥ button until the digit to be corrected is cleared. o Enter the correct digit

o Press the ¥ or � buttons, until the DAY selection flashes. o Press the � or � buttons, until the DLY (Daily) value is displayed.
