I Recently purchased yet another Service Manual from Owner-Manuals.com, this time for a Sony EVS700ES/UB Videocassette Recorder. The Manual was available for upload within two hours and is an Extremely Good copy, as some of this I was able to enlarge to get even better detail.

Attaching the lens
The Sony VCL-HGD0758/HGD1758 wide/tele conversion lens is designed for use with the Sony digital still camera whose filter is 58 mm in diameter.
1 Remove the lens caps on the front and rear of the wide/tele conversion lens. 2 Mount the lens on the camera. (see illustration B )
* The camera you attach the lens to does not have to be the illustrated one.
Caution for detachment of the MC protector
Design and specifications are subject to change without notice.
To take off the MC protector attached to the conversion lens etc., put a soft cloth over the MC protector and slowly screw it off. (see illustration A) To avoid injury, be careful not to drop the lens. Careless handling may cause unexpected injury.
