V-Guitar Amplifier Tunings
The VGA-7 lets you use different tunings without retuning your guitar. Use the following procedure to select a tuning: 1. Press TUNING. Each press of the button selects the next tuning type. 2. Press VARIATION/EDIT so it�s lit. 3. Use SELECT/VALUE (!) or (") to select a tuning variation. 4. Press VARIATION/EDIT when you�re done.

Effects
You can use an insert effect (EFX) and delay, reverb and chorus together to enhance your sound. Use the following procedure to select an EFX. 1. Press EFX so it�s lit. Press SELECT. Each press of the button selects the next effect. Note: You can use the RATE and INTENSITY controls to change the effect. Use the following procedure to select a delay, chorus or reverb: 1. Press DELAY, CHORUS or REVERB to turn on the desired effect. 2. Press VARIATION/EDIT so it�s lit. 3. Press SELECT/VALUE (!) or (") to select the desired effect variation. 4. Press VARIATION/EDIT when you�re done.

Digital Capo
The Digital Capo feature spares you from needing a real capo, letting you shift your guitar�s pitch by + or � one octave in semitone steps. Use the following procedure to use the Digital Capo: 1. Press CAPO until its indicator is lit. 2. Press VARIATION/ EDIT. The CAPO indicator will blink and the display will show the amount of 3. 4. pitch shift. Press SELECT/ VALUE (!) or (") to specify the desired amount of pitch shift. Press VARIATION/ EDIT when you�re done.

Creating and Saving Patches
You can edit any of the VGA-7�s patches and then save your edits as a new user patch. To do this, use the following procedure: 1. Press PRESET/ USER to select preset patches 2. 3. 4. 5. 5. (P) or user patches (U). Press the BANK and NUMBER buttons to select the patch you�d like to use as the starting point for your editing. Adjust EQUALIZER, PRESENCE, EFX, etc., to create your patch. When you�ve finished editing, press the WRITE button. Press the BANK and NUMBER buttons to select the user patch location to which you�d like to save your new patch. Press WRITE one more time to save the new patch in the VGA-7�s memory.

Selecting Amplifier Models
You can create the sound of various amplifiers by choosing an amplifier type, adjusting your tone with equalization and selecting a type of speaker cabinet. Use the following procedure to select an amp type and model: 1. Press TYPE under AMP. Each press of the button selects the next amp type. The gain, volume and equalizer controls can be set according to your taste. 2. Press VARIATION/EDIT so it�s lit. 3. Use SELECT/VALUE (!) or (") to select an amplifier type variation. 4. Press VARIATION/EDIT when you�re done. Use the following procedure to select the desired amp speaker model: 1. Press TYPE under SPEAKER. Each press of the button selects the next speaker type. 2. Press VARIATION/EDIT so it�s lit. 3. Use SELECT/VALUE (!) or (") to select an amp speaker model variation. 4. Press VARIATION/EDIT when you�re done.
