Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

This manual is immaculate in it's accuracy. Everything is written very clearly and easy to understand. Written by a professional who wants to convey a clear and easy to understand message!!

FONCTIONS DE LECTURE

Le son est coupe. ´ * Cet appareil vous permet de reproduire des cassettes enregistrees dans le standard NTSC par un autre magneto´ ´ scope. Sous reserve que vous ayez un televiseur PAL qui ´ ´´ permette la reproduction d�image a la frequence 60 Hz. ` ´ Pendant la lecture dans le standard NTSC certaines fonctions supplementaires (par ex.: arret sur image) ne sont ´ � pas possibles.

2 Chaque fois que vous reappuyez sur la touche STILL R ´
et appuyez sur la touche H (rebobinage) ou I (bobinage). Si vous voulez activer la fonction sur le magnetoscope, ´ tournez le grand bouton rond o vers la gauche ou vers la droite. L�afficheur indique:

la bande avance d�une image.
3 Maintenez la touche STILL R appuyee. L�image defile au ´ ´
ralenti.

Pendant le bobinage ou rebobinage, si vous voulez passer directement en recherche d�images, utilisez la fonction �Instant View�.
6 Instant View: Si, pendant le bobinage ou rebobinage, vous
pouvez faire varier la vitesse du ralenti. En appuyant plusieurs fois sur la touche H vous revenez a l�image ` arretee. �´ Pendant le ralenti, le son est coupe. ´ Remarque: L�arret sur image peut etre perturbe par un � � ´ tremblement vertical; dans ce cas, maintenez a l�etape 1 `´ la touche P r ou P q appuyee jusqu�a ce tremblement ´ ` soit devenu imperceptible. Ce reglage sera memorise ´ ´ ´ automatiquement. Tenez cependant compte du fait qu�avec des cassettes de mauvaise qualite, des perturbations peuvent malgre tout se ´ ´ produire.
maintenez appuyee la touche H ou I , vous passez ´ en recherche d�images. Des que vous relachez la touche, ` � le magnetoscope revient automatiquement en mode rebo´ binage/bobinage.
