This manual is accurate and of high quality. It is only volume 2 of the service manual. This is schematic, parts lists, and exploded mechanical drawings. The theory of operation and the diss-assembly instructions are in volume 1. The unit can be tricky to dis-assemble portions of so the volume 1 manual can be important. The product description of the manual is accurate but it does not say anything about volume 1 and the image of the front page does clearly say Volume 2.

It has all the information you will need to fix it. The main circuit diagram is only A4 but being a PDF, you can print it to any size - I did it on two sheets of A3 and it didnt lose any detail - just made it readable when pinned up above the bench. I've found the fault, just need to buy some obscure bits to get it going again!
I cant fault the process, I paid for the manual in the morning and it was ready to download by lunch time.

This feature is useful for getting good bass and treble sounds listening at low volumes. FL DIMMER button Use this button to make the fluorescent display (FL) dimmer or brighter. There are three brightness settings as well as an off setting. SETUP button Use this button when setting up the remote control to control other components. MUTING button Use to mute the sound or restore the sound if it has been muted. 9 THE FOLLOWING BUTTONS ARE DEDICATED TV CONTROL BUTTONS. THEY ARE ONLY USED FOR CONTROLLING YOUR TV. TV FUNC button Use to select the TV function. TV button Use to turn on/off the power of the TV. TV VOLUME +/� buttons Use to adjust the volume on your TV. 0 MENU button Use to access different menus associated with your DVD player. These buttons are also used to control DVD menus/options and for deck 1 of a double cassette deck player. The TUNE/ST +/� buttons can be used to find radio frequencies and preset stations, respectively . ! DISC button Use to select a disc and a multi-CD player. To use first press the CD button then operate this button. @ RECEIVER (POWER) button This switches between STANDBY mode and power ON for this receiver. # LED DISPLAY This display flashes when a command is sent from the remote control to the receiver. It also flashes at other times, for example when teaching the receiver preset codes, with specific meanings.
