ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS
2-16: PICTURE SIZE (4:3) 1. Receive the monoscope pattern. 2. Change the wide screen mode to NORMAL. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (40) on the remote control to select "VS 4:3". 5. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on upside and downside becomes 8 ± 2%. 6. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "HS 4:3" mode. 7. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the picture size is 440 ± 5mm. 8. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "PC 4:3" mode. 9. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the both ends of the vertical lines are straight. 10. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "CC 4:3" mode. 11. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the horizontal line of the monoscope pattern comes to approximate center of the CRT. 2-17: PICTURE SIZE (FULL) 1. Receive the monoscope pattern. 2. Change the wide screen mode to FULL. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (47) on the remote control to select "VS FULL". 5. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on upside and downside becomes 8 ± 2%. 6. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "HS FULL" mode. 7. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right and left becomes 11 ± 2%. 8. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "PC FULL" mode. 9. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the both ends of the vertical lines are straight. 10. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "CC FULL" mode. 11. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the horizontal line of the monoscope pattern comes to approximate center of the CRT. 2-19: PICTURE SIZE (16:9) 1. Receive the monoscope pattern. 2. Change the wide screen mode to 16:9. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (61) on the remote control to select "VS 16:9". 5. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on upside and downside becomes 8 ± 2%. 6. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "HS 16:9" mode. 7. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right and left becomes 11 ± 2%. 8. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "PC 16:9" mode. 9. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the both ends of the vertical lines are straight. 10. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "CC 16:9" mode. 11. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the horizontal line of the monoscope pattern comes to approximate center of the CRT. 2-18: PICTURE SIZE (CINEMA) 1. Receive the monoscope pattern. 2. Change the wide screen mode to CINEMA. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (54) on the remote control to select "VS CINEMA". 5. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on upside and downside becomes 20 ± 2%. 6. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "HS CINEMA" mode. 7. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right and left becomes 11 ± 2%. 8. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "PC CINEMA" mode. 9. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the both ends of the vertical lines are straight. 10. Press the CH PAGE UP button once to set to "CC CINEMA" mode. 11. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the horizontal line of the monoscope pattern comes to approximate center of the CRT.
