z Never touch the ink supply port (a) or the terminals (b). Touching these areas could damage these parts or cause poor quality printing. The illustration below shows the insertion side up.

With the ink supply ports facing down and the label facing in the direction as shown below, insert the ink tank into the holder.
Important
z Always match the color of the ink with the correct holder before inserting it. The ink tank cannot be installed if you try to install it in the wrong holder or position it incorrectly.

Close the ink tank cover. Press down on the cover until you hear it click and lock.
