I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. Before replacingthecooktop light bulb or fluorescenttube, I DISCONNECT POWER TO RANGE. Be sure the bulb is I cool. Do not touch a hot bulb with a damp cloth as the bulb I [ may break. I The cooktop featuring conventional surface burners lifts up for easy cleaning of the burner box area. The sealed burner cooktop is designed with two contour wells to catch and contain spills. Because of this design it is not necessary to lift up the cooktop to clean underneath. To preventdamage to the gas tubing or top, do not attempt to ft or remove the cooktop.
Toturn on cooktop light: Press and hold rockerswitch until the light turns on. The oven light switch is located on the backguard, To replace cooktop light: Be sure bulb is cool. Grasp the top trim of the backguard with your thumbs under the front edge and pull outward while lifting to release trim from catches at each end.
To raise the "lift-up" cooktop: When cool, grasp the front edge of the cooktop and gently lift up until the two support rods at the front of the cooktop snap into place.
Remove fluorescent tube and replace with an 18 watt fluorescent tube. Snap top trim back into place and reconnect power to range. Reset the clock, To lower the top: Hold the front edge of the cooktop and carefully push back on each support rod to release the notched support. Then gently lower the top into place. The support rods will slide into the cooktop frame.
Toturn on oven light: Push the rocker switch located on the backguard or on the control panel. To replace oven light: Be sure bulb is cool. Use a dry pothotder, to prevent possible harm to hands, and very carefully unscrew bulb cover, if equipped, and bulb. (Note: Non-self-cleaning models do not have a bulb cover.)
Replace with a 40 watt appliance bulb. Replace bulb cover and reconnect power to range. Reset the clock.
